Gareth Potts

Gareth is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and the Gibraltar Society of Accountants. He joined BDO Gibraltar in 2022.

Gareth started his career with BDO South Africa in 2015 before moving to BDO London in 2018. These international opportunities provided him with valuable experience in auditing a vast array of industries including Not-For-Profit, Financial Services, Technology and Media, Manufacturing and Retail.

Gareth completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting as well as two Post-Graduate Diplomas in Accounting and Applied-Accounting Science at the University of South Africa. This has given him a detailed knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing.

Over the years of working in public practice, Gareth has developed key skills in managing and delivering high quality audits that provide his clients with meaningful and value-adding results. He has a keen attention to detail and works hard to build professional relationships that last.
